Why IVF Failed

The patient produces few eggs and embryos despite taking fertility medications to stimulate the ovaries to produce more eggs. Another possible reason is cervical stenosis. This happens during transfer of embryos to the woman's womb. This is characterized pain and bleeding. While successful implantation of the embryo depends on the embryo's health, chromosomally abnormal embryos will fail to implant even if they appear normal. Research shows that as much as 50 percent of good-looking embryos are chromosomally abnormal.
